My guest DT contribution for the Fairy Fun Fridays challenge blog this week! :)
Yiiippeeeee!!! :))) I won 3 free Prairie Fairy digital images and a guest designer spot for the week 16 challenge over at the Fairy Fun Fridays challenge blog with this decorated basket, last week! :) So much fun!
(And in May I'm in this DT with Roberta and the other talented ladies, for a 4 month period!) :)
Here's my guest designer contribution for the Fairy Fun Fridays week 16 challenge, with the theme distressing. (Which means you can sand, crumple and tear your card/project). You don't have to use Prairie Fairy stamps on your card/project, to enter the challenges!
This is a decorated gift bag, for a confirmand. I SO fell for this cute fairy, holding a bird!.. I'm a little sorry I cut off the mushroom he was sitting on... But, I just HAD to place him on this rose!... *lol*
This digi stamp carries the name "A little friend". I have coloured the image with my Pro Markers and added Stickles "Diamond" to the fairy's wings. :) The DP and the largest flower in the left corner, are from Prima. The smaller flowers (plumeria) and the lace, are from a Norwegian producer with the name 'Kort og Godt'.
The sentiment stamp - translated: "Dear confirmand", is from Papir i Hjertet and their "Heartfelt Design" product line. The cute little metal bird up in the right corner, is bought at kuttut.com.
Here are some more photos - back, too - and close-ups, front and back:
(Click photos to enlarge).
I sanded the edges and the handles on the paper bag with a sanding block. I distressed the edges of the papers with my nail - after they were glued on the bag. I added Stickles to the yellow roses, too. Click photos for a closer look!..
The back, with another sentiment stamp from Papir i Hjertet and their "Heartfelt Design" products. (Wise and heartwarming words for a confirmand on this stamp).
Butterflies made with a Martha Stewart punch.
Size of the bag: 19,5 x 17,5 cm.
Now, here's how the paper bag looked, before I "laid my hands on it". *lol*... :
It's a paper bag from my trip to Italy last summer. I stopped by "Galleria Vittorio Emanuel II" in Milano.
Some shopping was inevitable!... ;) ....
I even found the receipt inside the bag! *LOL* Guess what was bought in this shop!....
Well, I wish you all a perfect weekend! Thank you so much for stopping by! Take care!
Hugs, Hege :)
