"Think you can't change the world? Too late, you already have. It was changed for the better the minute you were born. There are more people than you can imagine who will never be the same because they came in contact with you, if only for a fleeting moment."

Fairy Fun Fridays #40 - Buttons and Bows!

(Click photo to enlarge - for a closer look on details and sentiment!)

It's Friday again! :) Are you ready for a new challenge at the Fairy Fun Fridays challenge blog? I sure hope so!! The challenge for the next two weeks is Buttons and Bows! We want to see you create a card or some other paper project with buttons and bows on it, to enter this time.

My card has this adorable Christmas themed Prairie Fairy Designs image, from a new digi stamp set called "Holly Fairy". The sentiment is from the new "Candy Cane Fairy set". I coloured the image with pearlescent chalks, Stickles glitter glue "Diamond" and some diamond glaze (on berries and holly).

Check out all the new releases of Prairie Fairy digi stamps! They're Christmas themed - both images and sentiments. :)

The paper is from Ladybug and Friends, I've used two different Spellbinders dies, a Fiskars border punch, pearls, ribbon and one blue button. Cat's Eye; colours: Black, warm red, chestnut roan and sky blue.

Be sure to check out the whole DT's wonderful creations for inspiration!! :)

The card is made after this week's sketch at Sketchy Colors, challenge #47:

I also enter it into the following challenges:

From the three choices in this challenge, I picked number two: Make a "More is more" card - representing that He must INCREASE. The message on my card (the sentiment) underlines the importance of the real meaning of celebrating Christmas and is a reminder that we must not forget that!

I wish you all a wonderful weekend! Take care!!

Thank you so much for every kind and heartwarming comment on my blog!!
Hugs, Hege

Such a beautiful card you made with this lovely image. I love the way you used the die cut against the black panel and the glitter around the edges. And that paper is so wonderfully vintage!
