Prairie Fairy Fridays: Challenge 44 - Birthday card
I'm happy it's Friday again! :)) Today is time for another challenge with us over at Fairy Fun Fridays: Challenge 44 is: Make a Birthday Card. I hope you play along with us and enter your Birthday cards in all styles and shapes!! Remember: You don't need to use a Prairie Fairy image on your creation, but we love it when you do! And remember also: This is a forthnightly challenge. A midway reminder is being posted at the FFF challenge blog the Friday after a new challenge has been given.
(I'm a bit early posting this on my blog. Just wait a couple of hours and the new challenge will be posted on the FFF challenge blog, too!)
My Birthday card is quite special. It's for my youngest sister, who turns 23 January 22nd. She gave birth to a beautiful boy in December. It is their first baby. That's why I have chosen this sweet image "A Mother's Love". I found it suitable for use on a Birthday card for her. :) I coloured with my ProMarkers. The card is made after the Sketchy Colors sketch this week.
Cardstock: Bazzill: Bling. Bazzill: Dotted Swiss.
Digi stamp: A Mother's Love, Prairie Fairy Designs.
Sentiments: Rub-ons from Norsk Stempelblad. (Translated: LOVE and Birthday).
Design Paper: Tim Holtz: idea-ology. Paper Stack, Vintage Shabby.
Flowers: Magnolia Doo-Hickeys die.
Pearls from Kaisercraft. Pearl Hearts from Kort og Godt.
I used my sewing machine on two of the panels.
Distressed edges; edge scraper and Cat's Eye Fluid chalk.
I enter this card into these challenges:
Have a wonderful weekend, my blogging friends! :)
